Kik is an evolutionary messenger that allows you to share photos, videos, messages and all sorts of media freely. Registering is also very simple and effective. However if you are already making use of other messengers Kik isn’t all that creative and if you are effectually using other messengers your Kik account is pretty much useless and should be deleted. The key factor to remember is that it is important to deactivate the account before deleting it, or it won’t be removed completely.
Removing a Kik account, when not in active use is important because it uses far more memory than other messenger apps. It also has higher chances of higher anonymous hack attacks than others and there is greater exposure to teenagers of adult content. Thus it is important to delete the account since it has no real use.
Once you open the Kik app, direct yourself to the account option. Scroll down until you find the Reset Kik option.
Click the Reset Kik button. This will sign you out of the Kik Account. Now you can sign in / create a new account or leave it as it is. If you want to remove the kik account completely, from the kik servers then click here >> Kik Account Deletion Page << either from your PC or your Phone Browser and Enter your email address related to the Kik account. Press the GO! Button, once you do that, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your Inbox. Click on the confirmation link to deactivate the account.
NOTE: One thing to remember however is that once you delete your Kik account all conversations, saved media data will be removed completely as well.
