How to clear the browser cache

When using the Internet app:

  1. Open the Internet
  2. Open the app’s Menu.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Settings.
  4. Tap on Privacy.
  5. Select Delete personal data.
  6. Tap on the Cache
  7. Tap on Delete.

When using Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Tap on the Menu button in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select Settings.
  4. Under the Advanced category, select Privacy.
  5. Tap on Clear Browsing Data.
  6. Select Cache.
  7. Tap on Clear.

How to clear the browser cookies

When using the Internet app:

  1. Open the Internet
  2. Access the app’s Menu.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Settings.
  4. Select Privacy.

How to clear the browser history

When using the Internet app:

  1. Open the Internet
  2. Navigate to the app’s Menu.
  3. Tap on Settings.
  4. Select Privacy.
  5. Tap on Delete personal data.
  6. Select Browsing history.
  7. Tap on Delete.

When using Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Tap on Menu.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. In the Advanced section, select Privacy.
  5. Tap on Clear browsing data.
  6. Select the Browsing history
  7. Tap on Clear.

How to open or close a browser tab

When using the Internet app:

  1. Open the Internet
  2. Tap on the tab counter next to the URL.
  3. To open a new tab, press the ‘+’ in the top right.
  4. To close an open tab, tap on the red ‘X’ on the top right of the tab.

When using Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Tap on the tab counter located next to the URL.
  3. To open a new tab, press the large + icon in the top left corner of the screen.
  4. To close an already open tab, press the X in the tab’s top right corner. Open tabs can also be closed by swiping them left or right.

How to turn JavaScript on or off

When using the Internet app:

  1. Open the Internet
  2. Open the app’s Menu.
  3. Tap on Settings.
  4. In the Advanced section, select Content settings.
  5. Check or uncheck the Enable JavaScript checkbox to turn JavaScript on or off.

When using Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Tap on the Menu
  3. Scroll down and tap on Settings.
  4. Scroll down to the advanced section and then tap on Site settings.
  5. Scroll down to locate the JavaScript option, and then select it.
  6. Use the provided toggle to turn JavaScript on or off.
