- Tap on the tab counter next to the URL.
- To open a new tab, press the ‘+’ in the top right.
- To close an open tab, tap on the red ‘X’ on the top right of the tab.
When using Chrome:
- Open Chrome.
- Tap on the tab counter located next to the URL.
- To open a new tab, press the large + icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- To close an already open tab, press the X in the tab’s top right corner. Open tabs can also be closed by swiping them left or right.
How to turn JavaScript on or off
When using the Internet app:
- Open the Internet
- Open the app’s Menu.
- Tap on Settings.
- In the Advanced section, select Content settings.
- Check or uncheck the Enable JavaScript checkbox to turn JavaScript on or off.
When using Chrome:
- Open Chrome.
- Tap on the Menu
- Scroll down and tap on Settings.
- Scroll down to the advanced section and then tap on Site settings.
- Scroll down to locate the JavaScript option, and then select it.
- Use the provided toggle to turn JavaScript on or off.
